Always Ascending’ the new album from Franz Ferdinand, is being released by Domino on Friday the 9th of February. Ed Byrne is coming to Cool FM Comedy Club! Most recently seen on Dara & Ed’s Road To Mandalay and various Mock The Weeks, Ed Byrne’s multiple BBC TV appearances have made him a household name. Formed in Liverpool in 1986 The Christians went on to become one of the UK’s biggest soul bands with hits like ‘Ideal World’ and ‘Harvest for the World’. A unique blend of soul, gospel and heartfelt acoustic pop, topped off by Garry Christian’s distinctive vocals. Still sporting the Raybans, incredibly rich and sultry voice and the string of gorgeous songs that made a million women swoon.

The Revs were an indie rock band from Kilcar, County Donegal in Ireland. The group consisted of three childhood friends: Rory Gallagher (named after the famous blues guitarist Rory Gallagher and who had previously released the album 20th Century at the age of 18) on bass guitar and vocals, John McIntyre (guitar, vocals) and Michael O’ Donnell (drums, percussion).
