Following their triumphant performances in 2016, Jeff Lynne’s ELO have announced today that they will be returning to Europe for an extended run of shows in 2018. The newly announced shows will see the legendary band play dates across the continent including performances at 3Arena, Dublin on Thursday 25th October and The SSE Arena, Belfast on Friday 26th October.   Looking ahead to the new shows, Jeff said; “Our audiences are amazing. It’s like they’re in the group. Reportedly the biggest selling solo classical artist of all time with over 80 million worldwide album sales, Bocelli has performed for four US Presidents, two Popes and many Royal families across the world, as well as at high-profile ceremonies for the Olympic Games and the World Cup. The Maestro has countless music awards to his name over past 25 years in music and even boasts a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, which he received in 2010 for his contribution to live theatre. Andrea Bocelli last performed in Dublin to a sold out 3Arena in 2016 in support of his album release ‘Cinema’, which featured songs from movies – the record included stunning duets with Ariana Grande and Nicole Scherzinger, and reached number three in the UK charts.

The last 5 years of Deacon Blue have seen a creative surge, and the band’s renaissance, with three new albums released in quick succession, 2016’s studio album ‘Believers’ became their highest charting album in 23 years. ‘To Be Here Someday’ is a tour that celebrates the band’s entire career, and will see them play some of their biggest ever shows. One of Britain’s best loved comedians, the multi award winning actor, writer, director, author and producer Peter Kay, is finally returning to his most successful hobby, stand-up. His last tour in 2010, which still officially ranks with the Guinness Book of World Records as the biggest selling comedy tour of all time, played to over 1.2 million people. So why a return to stand-up now? Peter says: ‘I really miss it. I know how lucky I am to be making television series and have really loved these past few years working on Car Share but I miss doing stand-up.
