Macbeth Second Age, Ireland’s award winning classics theatre company, starts 2012 with one of Shakespeare’s greatest and bloodiest plays. Expect a fast-paced thriller, with a sumptuous design, and high-octane physical performances, touring nationwide to 8 venues from February 2 until March 29.

Macbeth promises to be an arresting and vivid take on one of the greatest tragedies of all time. The play is directed by David Horan, whose most recent Second Age production, Dancing at Lughnasa, was described by The Irish Times as ‘the best show in town’.
