Electric Six is a six-piece American band from Detroit, Michigan. Their style has been described as a brand of rock music infused with elements of “garage, disco, punk rock, new wave, and metal.”The band met recognition in 2003 with the singles “Danger! High Voltage” and “Gay Bar”, and subsequently released 14 full-length albums, two rarities albums, and a live album. A live DVD, Absolute Treasure, was released for download in 2014. The current lineup of the band consists of singer Dick Valentine, guitarists Johnny Na$hinal and Da Vė, drummer Two-Handed Bob, keyboardist Tait Nucleus?, and bassist Rob Lower.

Part of the Britpop explosion, Shed Seven were formed in York in 1990 before signing their first record deal in 1994. The band members were vocalist Rick Witter, bassist Tom Gladwin, guitarist and keyboard player Paul Banks and drummer Alan Leach. Their debut single was followed swiftly by Dolphin, which cracked the top 30. The subsequent single success of Speakeasy led to prime-time television appearances, increased exposure and a higher profile for the Yorkshire-based band. At the end of 1994, Shed Seven’s debut LP was released. Showcasing a series of unapologetically upbeat rock songs, Change Giver went on to sell over 250,000 copies in the UK alone. Hits such as Where Have You Been Lately? and Ocean Pie continued to garner new fans and critics began to see past the simplicity of the Britpop tag. They were inspired in part by The Smiths but praised for their own sound. Costadinos Contostavlos(born 11 June 1987), better known by his stage name Dappy, is an English singer, songwriter, rapper, and actor. He is best known for being the lead singer of the Camden-based grime trio N-Dubz, with his cousin Tulisa, and Fazer. He was known for his slightly unusual dress sense and his love for what he describes as “eye-catching headwear”. His trademark was wearing a selection of woolly chullos (sometimes referred to as “Dappy hats”), turning up one or both of the ear-flaps of the hat.
