Markets

Many of the weekly Farmers Markets are designated as Good Practice markets. This is a Government recognised standard meaning that they undertake to have at least 50% of the produce locally sourced – not a bad thing! Currently there are markets on every day of the week. As demand in this category has grown, we have been “forced” to add a second tag to this category, the tag of Car Boot Sales. This is where you can rummage through other people’s stuff! If you are heading to the coast there are markets in Dalkey,  Balbriggan, Howth, Skerries and many more. For the slightly off beat, there is a flea market in Newmarket Square the last Sunday in the month. Read more
