Curator's Talk: Witnesses to War - The Irish War of Independence in Their Own Words

Hear about the War of Independence in the words of those who were there. Curator Brenda Malone recounts the witness statements collected by the Bureau of Military History between 1913 and 1921. Places for this adult event are limited and allocated on a first-come basis 15 minutes before event starts.

Saturday Talk: 'Green-Coated Irishmen' - The National Army Uniform from 1922 to 1939

Design historian Hannah Mullan explores the contribution made by the uniform to visual interpretation of the army in post-independence Ireland.
