DCU Futurology

Dublin City University consistently delivers impactful research in a wide range of disciplines. Researchers at DCU are working on breakthrough medical technology, key policy recommendations, cutting edge communications and information technology, and techniques and methods at the forefront of treatment for serious illness and disease.

The Futurology Lecture Series takes this wealth of expertise, knowledge and new discoveries and maps it onto the near, medium and long term future of Ireland, and the world. Each event examines a specific issue or aspect of life as we don’t yet know it.

The speakers will be addressing online hate speech, extreme online communities, the policy landscape around the regulation of the internet and more.
