Dogs Day Out on in Dun Laoighaire Port

These are the ‘dog days’ of summer so no better time to stage an event dedicated to everyone’s best friend.

This faithful family pet will be the centre of attention from 1pm to 5pm on Sunday August 11th 2019 in Moran Park, Dún Laoghaire (beside dlr LexIcon) for Dog’s Day Out.

We will have advice on canine health with our vet from Ark Vet Care on Patrick Street in Dún Laoghaire. Tips on doggy training and style will be provided by Woof Wonderpaws, who will be there with their groomer, agility course and ‘ask the trainer’ service.

Staff from Dogs Trust Ireland, Blue Cross and other organisations dedicated to the welfare of your dog will also be at the event.

The event will also feature our Doggy InstaWall where you can take a picture of your dog as a special reminder of your visit to Dog’s Day Out. Kids will be able to have their faces painted canine style or make a customised dog collar for their favourite pet.

Want to take a break from walking your dog or event actvities? Why not just come and relax on one of our loungers or bean bags and meet other dog lovers.

If you are going to Dog’s Day Out please remember that all the legal requirements for dog ownership apply for this event. More information on your legal obligations is available here. The dlr Dog Warden will be at the event.

Please walk or cycle or as Moran Park in Dún Laoghaire is well served by public transport use Dart or Dublin Bus services to get to the event.

Dog’s Day Out is organised by dlr Events and is an initiative by Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council.
