Dublin HandelFest at Dublin Castle.

The Irish Baroque Orchestra present Dublin HandelFest – an annual celebration of Handel’s visit to. the city in 1741, and the wealth of great music and stories that emerge from this moment in history.

Join us in July for performances by Peter Whelan and the Irish Baroque Orchestra, Claire Duff, Malcolm Proud, the IBO Apprentices and Pablo FitzGerald. Dublin HandelFest 2023 also offers two insightful walking tours taking intrepid explorers back to Handel’s Dublin, and children have the opportunity to find out what happens when you cross a giraffe with a guitar. 

Dublin HandelFest is presented by the Irish Baroque Orchestra in partnership with the Office of Public Works. Dublin HandelFest 2023 takes place with the support of the IBO’s principal funder, Arts Council Ireland, as well as Dublin City Council.
