Dublin’s Deep Sea Port Walking tour

Dublin’s Deep Sea Port walking tour is a new and fascinating introduction to Dublin Port’s rich maritime history and its links to the surrounding area.

Along the way we learn about the early days of Dublin Port, from 1885 right through to the modern day economic importance of Dublin Port.

The tour starts at the Three arena and from there our guide will show us many historical points of interest along the way, including Dublin Port’s recently developed Maritime Gardens and the Port centre itself, as well as discussing some of notable characters associated with the surrounding areas,James Joyce, Michael O’ Doherty and of course playwright Sean O Casey to name but a few.
