Guinness Gallery Collection

Guinness Gallery is a new collection of fine art prints celebrating over a century of Guinness’s visual culture, opening on the 30th of July at the Guinness Storehouse, curated by Good Shout Studio.

Few brands can claim a design history as rich as Guinness. The collection brings together a curated selection from the Guinness archives, including original sketches and artworks by John Gilroy — the artist who helped define the visual world of Guinness — alongside iconic advertising from the ’70s, ’80s and ’90s.

A new generation of Irish and international illustrators have also been invited to put their own stamp on the brand, commissioning a series of new works that sit alongside the archival classics.

Curated by Good Shout Studio, the Dublin creative studio behind over five years of Guinness collaborations, Guinness Gallery brings together works from Kathi Burke, Fuchsia MacAree, Gemma Shiel (Lazy Oaf), Bráulio Amado, Aches, Ronan Dillon, Mason London, Conor Nolan, Claire Prouvost and Ruan van Vliet – alongside the handpicked prints and sketches from the Guinness archives.

This collection marks the start of an ever-growing exhibition space within the Storehouse, and a space for the ongoing relationship between Guinness and the art and design community – while also opening the door for future standalone exhibitions and new artist collaborations.
