Lizzo

American rapper and singer, Melissa Jefferson, known professionally as Lizzo, is a founding member of indie hip-hop groups The Chalice, Grrrl Prty, The Clerb, Ellypseas, and Absynthe.

Born into a musical family, she listened to a diverse range of musical genres whilst growing up from Björk to Radiohead, Elton John to Queen as well as a lot of gospel music.

Her own style is described as a mix of pop, R’n’B and neosoul.
