Nile Rodgers will be bringing CHIC back to the road in December 2018, in support of the release their first new album in 25 years, It’s About Time, at the end of September. The suitably titled full-length record follows 2015’s release of the outfit’s first new material in years, I’ll Be There.
New York-based Grammy Award winner Rodgers has celebrated success both as an artist and producer, working across a range of genres. His work has seen him inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and the Songwriter’s Hall Of Fame, having produced work by the likes of Diana Ross, David Bowie, and Madonna. He has also collaborated with Daft Punk, Avicci and Sigala in recent years.
CHIC rose to fame in the 1970s, led by Nile Rodgers and the since departed Bernard Edwards.
