Back for its second year, The Second Chance Dance 2.0 is a celebration of inclusion and belonging for everyone—a night where no one is left out, and everyone has a place on the dance floor. Fiadhnait Canning created this event as part of her individual self-advocacy project, Second Chance Dance, focused on creating inclusive social spaces. Many years ago, Fiadhnait purchased a ticket for her Debs, only to receive a call the night before from the student committee saying there was no space for her to attend. She shares:
“Some people have been excluded from social events in the past. This project will give others that moment when they were wronged and not given a chance to have that experience.”
Join us at Street 66 on Saturday, September 13th, 2025, for a night of joy, music, community—and a live performance from Sing Along Social—as we give you a second chance to dance the night away! Your €25 ticket includes:
- 1 drink ticket (beer, wine, or soft drink)
- A slice of pizza
- A live performance from Sing Along Social
- DJ preformances and more!

Supporting a Good Cause: Half of the proceeds from the event will be donated to Pieta House, and the other half will go to the WALK Community Project Fund, helping to support mental health services and community inclusion initiatives.
*We’re offering a limited number of discounted tickets for students and underemployed individuals €15 per ticket.
