News just in: Summer In The City is Ireland’s newest and most exciting open air event coming to RDS Dublin. It will run over two days featuring Ireland’s band of the year Picture This and the hottest artist producers in the world, The Chainsmokers.
Picture This, will perform on Saturday, 23rd June along with Clean Bandit, JP Cooper and Little Hours. The following day, Sunday, 24th June the hottest artist producer duo The Chainsmokers will take to the stage alongside Pop sensation Rita Ora.
Picture This have had a phenomenal year with the release of their self-titled album storming into the charts at #1, the highest charting entry for a debut artist this year. Already certified platinum, the album has dominated the Top Five album charts since its release. The band have just come off the back of a sold-out UK and Ireland tour, including two dates at 3Arena Dublin.
Clean Bandit best known for their hit singles “Rather Be” and “Rockabye” featuring Sean Paul, will join the line up on Saturday. Their number #1 single for 9 consecutive weeks “Rockabye” has been nominated for numerous awards including “Best Song” at this year’s MTV EMAs.
The Chainsmokers released their brand-new album memories..do not open this year, which featured hit singles “Something Like This” which is certified gold and has received over 115 million streams on Spotify—as well as the Top 10 radio hit and Platinum-certified single “Paris”—whose official videos have surpassed 225 million combined views to date. The album debuted at #1 in the Billboard 200. Their wild antics, hilarious personalities, and addicting productions have fans interacting with them non-stop and running to see them live every chance they get.
