The Big Scream NEIC Halloween Festival

The Big Scream Festival is an annual multi-day event held in Dublin’s North East Inner City, running from the 21st to 31st October. The Big Scream is an initiative which aims to foster community engagement through fun activities and workshops for all ages from pre-schoolers to senior citizens; pets included!

Over ten days, participants can enjoy Horrible History Walks, the Haunted House of Horrors, Bank Holiday Bingo with Witch Nicola and a film screening, all designed to celebrate Halloween with the community. Other events include a doggy dress-up parade in Diamond Park on Saturday 25th October, synchronised swimming in Sean McDermott Street Pool and performances of the Carnival Chorus, a global music event in Sean McDermott St Church. There are dozens of spook-tacular celebrations to partake in throughout the run up to and during the Halloween season.

The big finish is the spooktacular Big Scream Carnival on October 31 where local families can enjoy free funfair carnival rides on Sean McDermott Street, a ride on the Ghost Train along the Royal Canal Greenway, the Sheriff Street Skelebration community fun fair and Spooky Movies in Diamond Park.

While all events are free, some require a pre-registration of your attendance via the link on our website.  www.bigscream.ie
