The Seamster’s Daughter
We all know what she should do, but what would you do…?
After the success of Glass Mask Theatre’s debut production ‘Idlewild’ by Jimmy Murphy, Smock Alley’s company-in-residence invites you back to the Boys’ School for Jimmy’s latest play, The Seamster’s Daughter.
Megan always dreamt of meeting her birth father, but after discovering she was conceived through rape she sets out in search of a monster only to be conflicted when she doesn’t find one.
Through Megan’s story Glass Mask presents a challenging and conflicting drama that looks at consent, choice and the right to life.
