As the lead singer of Brit-pop band Oasis, Liam Gallagher (along with his brother and bandmate, Noel) was among the most well-known pop artists of the 1990s. Oasis released their debut album, Definitely Maybe, in 1994 and the band achieved international success with such singles as Supersonic and Live Forever. Noel departed Oasis in 2009, but Liam continued with the former members under the name Beady Eye until they disbanded in 2014. Gallagher was voted the greatest frontman of all time in a 2010 reader poll by Q magazine.
Hailing from Athy, Co. Kildare, Jimmy Rainsford (22) and Ryan Hennessy (21) joined forces at the end of October 2015, after Jimmy spotted Ryan performing in local pubs and venues. Upon hearing Ryan’s unique voice, Jimmy invited Ryan to join him in his studio to record some tracks. Setting up the band’s Facebook as a way to promote their music with quickly saw Picture This’ fan-base rise from 100 friends and family to over 16,000 in a short space of time. They have received over 2.5 million views on Facebook and over two hundred and fifty thousand views on YouTube. In March of this year, Picture This were honoured when their single “You and I” was chosen by the Irish Film Board as the music for their new advertisement campaign, running in cinemas and used in the board’s presentation at both the Oscars and The Sundance Film Festival. Timothy Jude Smith (better known by his stage name, Timmy Trumpet) is an Australian house DJ and producer. Smith became popular in Ibiza; playing live trumpet solos over electronic dance music tracks during DJs shows. He has supported and played alongside Armin Van Buuren, Carl Cox, Fedde le Grand, Dizzee Rascal, Fatboy Slim and the Stafford Brothers. Timmy also makes regular appearances on the FOX8 reality TV show The Stafford Brothers. Timmy Trumpet has become known internationally for his jazz elements in the realm of global dance music. Now as a combined DJ/instrumentalist, he is ranked in the top 3 DJs in Australia (ITM Poll), performed at Ibiza’s Pacha and Miami’s WMC, and mixed both Ministry of Sound and Pacha albums. Signed to Ministry of Sound, three of his singles have reached the No. 1 spot on the ARIA Club chart. Timmy performs over 200 shows per year, including major festivals and international clubs. He is the No. 1 ranked DJ in Australia according to the 2015 inthemix DJ Awards.
In the 1980s, Cox was a breakbeat hardcore DJ, and became a mainstage DJ in the electronica industry. He has performed at numerous clubs and events worldwide and has served as a monthly DJ for BBC Radio 1’s Essential Mix. He has hosted a residency known as ‘Music is Revolution’ every summer season at the world renowned nightclub, Space Ibiza, from 2001 to 2016. He runs the record label, Intec Digital, which was founded in 1999 as Intec Records. Cox also had his own radio show, entitled ‘Global’. In 2017 he announced that from February onwards he would no longer work on the show. He has featured his own ‘Carl Cox & Friends’ stage at many festivals, such as Ultra Music Festival, the BPM Festival, Awakenings.
